Goggins

The story on Giggins is insane. To do what that man does everyday is simply amazing. To push your body that hard for as long as he does is insane. The man is unbelievable.

State Champs

Just going to say a little about the ride we had this year during football. Unbelievable. A dream come true. Four years of hard work finally paying off in the biggest thing this school has done in 30 years. Coming out through the tunnel onto Memorial Stadium is a feeling I will never forget. The crowd yelling, what a feeling that was. Getting on the podium to receive the trophy was awesome. Some things you will forget over the years but this will not be one of them.

Revenge

I believe that revenge sometimes is a good thing. I think this mostly in terms of sports. It is nice to beat a team that beat you in years before and in a way this is a type of revenge. An example of revenge in my life this year would lbe beating Routt on JHS's field. They have beat us for 2 years in a row and it was revenge for when they have beat us when we won this year. The other day we got revenge on Tuscola for beating us last year in the playoffs when we beat them in the final four minutes. It was the best feeling ever and it was easy to say that it was sweet revenge.

My thoughts on the Election

I myself am not happy with the way the election came out. I do not feel the country made the right choice in electing Barack Obama. One reason I do not like this is that he believes in redistributing wealth and if I am not mistaken that is socialism. That takes away from the people who work hard and make a lot of money. That makes people who are lazy and do not work receive money that they do not diserve. Another thing that i do not like is taking the troops out of Iraq. That is not a good idea. we cannot leave with the Iraq government that way it is and when we do leave it will not be a good move. There are other reason I do not like Obama that I won't post on here. I knew that he would get elected because people who watch the news are persuaded by the people on the shows and since they are liberal they make the conservatives look bad. People need to look deeper into what the person wants and not what they hear from the biased news or teachers.

My Conflict

The conflict that I can think of that I had to resolve was to come back and beat Routt after being down 7-0 in the first quarter. We had not beatin them in 2 years and we really needed a victory. The whole team was up for the game and we knew that if we played well we could come back and win. We put a drive together and scored a touchdown and after that we had confidence and got the crowd behind us and won the game 26-7. Some problems we had during the game that kept the game close were fumbles. We had way to many of them and it hurt us. But we knew that the confrence title was on the line and we got the job done.
